Highland people Museum Work shop

Pyramidformade museibyggnaden har fyra våningar. Intressant att få tillträde till alla utställningar i samband med denna 3-dagars workshop.

Ungdomar från olika skolor kommer i omgångar för att pröva på de gamla traditionella handverken från tidiga kulturer.

This is the name of the 3-day event organized by The Highland People Discovery Museum

A wonderful opportunity to visit this museum for those who don't know it yet. But above all, it's an opportunity to meet members of various hill tribes.

Many activities are on the program:

An exhibition of antique fabrics made by highlanders

Stalls featuring popular products from the ethnic minorities in question

Cultural performances by members of these ethnic communities.

Making Karen ethnic bags

Embroidery of ethnic Karen fabrics from Ban Mae Ka Piang

Hmong candle-painted fabric.

This event is part of the sustainable preservation of the cultural heritage of the inhabitants of the highlands. With the support of the Ministry of Development and Social Welfare and Rajabhat University in Chiang Mai.
